Our strength is high quality research for applied wheat breeding. We therefore built up our group in a way warranting high throughput phenotyping and lab analyses. We perform our field trials on the Agricultural Experiment Station of the University of Hohenheim and with further partners outside Germany. In our lab, we are able to run all routine methods for wheat quality for big data sets. The team is led by the scientist Prof. Dr. Friedrich Longin surrounded by a very strong team of technicians. Furthermore, students are trained in practical and scientific work for their B.Sc, M.Sc or PhD theses.
